The 2017 Precious Metals Summit concluded on Wednesday, Sept. 20 th in Beaver Creek, Colorado. The conference was attended by 980 fund managers, analysts, major mining companies and brokers who were there to hear the latest developments from 150 presenting junior exploration and development companies. The atmosphere was full of optimism with a general feeling that we are potentially in the early stages of a new bull market in the gold sector. One recurring theme was the ongoing need for major and intermediate producers to replace their gold resources via acquisitions as well as their increasing interest in earlier stage “strategic investments”.
Otis Gold enjoyed a fantastic reception there with over 30 “1 on 1” meetings and a corporate presentation given by Craig Lindsay, President and CEO of Otis Gold. The link to his presentation can be found here.
Craig Lindsay, Otis President and CEO, commented: “As a first-time attendee, I was very impressed with the quality of attendees. The short, “elevator-pitch” style one-on- one meetings were a very effective way to touch a large number of investors in a very efficient manner. In addition to formal meetings, there were numerous other opportunities to tell the Otis story at various networking events. We’ll definitely be back.”
